About Opinion Opts

People can increasingly access their own lab results, genetic data, imaging reports, and clinical notes. Access, however, is not the same as understanding. A portal full of numbers rarely explains what those findings may mean or what questions they raise.

Opinion Opts works with readable PDF, TXT, and CSV records up to 10 MB each. A genetic result can be considered only when it appears in a supported readable file; VCF/23andMe files and scanned images are not supported. It offers plain-English educational explanations of possible relationships among documented findings, makes uncertainty explicit, and prepares questions to discuss with a clinician. These possible relationships are not established clinical causes. Members choose whether to create follow-up explanations; new uploads do not trigger automatic re-analysis.
